I do not know what the eff is going on. Just 10 minutes ago I had a call from Debbie. Who had been asked to ring me and make an appointment for Saturday 12 May at the oral surgery outpatients at the local NHS hospital. Oh, and I need to go for an x ray first.
What has happened I think is they've realised the referral was lost for 7 weeks and they can't mess up their waiting time figures so they've suddenly fasttracked me. Possibly the private consultant's secretary has stirred them up by phoning and asking for a copy of the referral letter. Still, I may as well go along and see if I can get it done for free.......
My teeth are so happy they're in demand! They want to go and have a new hairdo before they get their photo taken again.

Perhaps next time you can request the sending office to 'forget' to fax for a few weeks.
I don't think I need to - I think I can probably rely on the hospital to lose it all by themselves!
